Sinks Canyon State Park - Landers WY

Location: Six miles southwest of Landers on SR-131;
A highly unusual geologic phenomenon occurs here where the Popo Agie River vanishes into a
large cavern (the Sinks) and then resurfaces a half mile down the canyon (The Rise).
Adventure activities include hiking, camping, rock climbing and fishing.
These trout live a leisurely life in the Rise, with no fishing allowed. A visitor center features wildlife and recreation exhibits, viewing sites and interpretive signs about wildlife and habitat requirements.
The park contains hiking trails and offers camping, picnicking, rock climbing and fishing.
Sinks Canyon is home to a wide variety of wildlife, birds and plants. Visitors might see porcupines, black bears, red squirrels, bighorn sheep, mule deer, moose or golden eagles.

Location: 20 miles northeast of Riverton near junction of US-20 and US-26.
One of the bigger parks in the Wyoming State Park System, Boysen features a number
of camping, fishing and watersport adventure opportunities. The park is situated on
Boysen Reservoir at the mouth of the Wind River Canyon.
Visitors may also find some interesting geological formations inside the park.
