Because of its location along the Colorado River, Moab is a popular

for Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch and other outlaw gangs and is the setting
for many Zane Grey western novels.

Over 2,000 sandstone arches including the famous Delicate Arch were created by
millions of years of colorful geological history have been revealed by erosion.
Redrock canyons, fins, spires and balancing rocks are some of the features found plentiful here.
Tour Canyonlands National Park
Deeply eroded canyons formed by the confluence of the
Green and Colorado Rivers. This area was formerly inaccessible
and little known outside of Southern Utah. However its bright orange-red
sandstone cliffs provided a wild setting for many Zane Grey novels.
