Cove Fort Historic Site
Historic 1867 pioneer fort located in central Utah between the towns of Beaver and Fillmore. Due to the scarcity of water, a town could not be established in this location so Cove Fort was to be a way-station for pioneers, miners, Indian or Spanish traders, mail carriers, and others traveling along the "Mormon Corridor" - settlements stretching from Idaho to California.

In 1983 during construction of Interstate 70, the largest known Fremont Indian village was uncovered. Eighty residential structures, pothouses, and many storage granaries were discovered during the excavation. Recovered artifacts are now on display at the museum and include pottery, grinding stones, arrowheads, baskets, and other tools. Visitors may also meander park trails, which lead to hundreds of spectacular petroglyphs; a natural outdoor gallery.

In 2001, Cove View expanded to 18 holes under the direction of Head Pro, Kris Abegglen. The course is surrounded by the scenic red hills of the Sevier Valley. Players can expect 6,495 yards of rolling hills, 5 lakes, and water on 13 holes. Cove View offers a driving range, putting green, fully stocked pro-shop, cart rentals, food and beverages.
