The largest known natural bridge in the world, Rainbow Bridge stands 290 feet above a stream bed and stretches 270 feet wide. It's enormous and nearly perfectly curved arch resembles a rainbow and is considered a sacred site by the Navajo Indians.

Located on the south side of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, it is reached only by a 13-mile hike over rugged terrain or by boat from Lake Powell. Camping and swimming are not permitted on the monument grounds.
