Cedar Breaks National Monument
This parkland offers incredible scenic views of the surrounding canyons.
Because of its high elevation - over 10,000 feet - it keeps relatively cool even

Brian Head Resort offers riding on two distinct mountains, Navajo Mountain and Giant Steps Mountain. The resort usually sees over 400 inches of
the "Greatest Snow on Earth". Located 12 miles east of Parowan on SR-143. It is both the southernmost
and highest altitude ski resort in Utah. Lifts are usually running by
Thanksgiving.
 Navajo Mountain - an entire mountain ski facility dedicated to kids and newcomers to winter sports.
Navajo Mountain features two chairlifts, a surface lift, a beginner terrain park, and ten beginner runs, accompanied
by a full-service ski and snowboard school for all ages.
Giant Steps Mountain - over 40 intermediate and advanced runs, two large terrain parks and a snowboarding half pipe.
When conditions permit, the double black diamond chutes and bowls of Brian Head Peak are available for expert skiers and snowboarders.

Nordic Trails - tour Brian Head on a network of high-alpine Nordic trails snaking through town and into the backcountry.
Overall, the area has roughly 50 Km of marked trails and another 300 Km of backcountry routes.
One of the more popular trails is the Town Trail and also the Heritage Trail.
Snowboarding: Brian Head is a very popular destination for
snowboarding. They have access to all ski runs.
Cross-Country: A number of groomed trails lead out of Brian
Head. Some connect to Cedar Breaks National Monument or follow the rim
of Cedar Breaks.
