Jordan River Mormon Temple

20th Operating Temple of the Mormon Church and the 7th built in the state of Utah. The Jordan River, namesake of this temple, flows just to the east on its course through the valley. At the entrance to the temple, visitors are greeted by a striking water fountain, which spouts among vividly colored flowers and shrubs. The grounds are open to all who wish to the feel the peace that surrounds this holy building.

The temple is considered to be a most holy place in the Mormon religion. As such a lot of attention and resources are contributed to its design, construction and interior furnishings. Several sites feature a photo gallery, temple video, dedicatory prayer and articles explain why temples are so important to the Mormon faith.
