    Logan Utah Mt Logan Stake

    160th stake of the LDS Church was created on 17 Nov 1946 with A. George Raymond as the first stake president. Originally called the Mount Logan Stake for many years.

    Logan Mormon Temple

    With an architectural style resembling a early European castle, this Mormon temple was built over a seven year period (1877-1884) by and all volunteer labor force for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is the second oldest temple of the church in continuous operation and has a commanding view of the surrounding Cache Valley.


    Logan Tabernacle

    It took 27 years (1864-1891) to build this big Mormon Assembly Hall in the center of Logan. Featuring design elements of Greek, Roman, Gothic and Byzantine styles and the Great Organ installed in 1908. Today this facility hosts regular community concert and lecture series including a grand music series during the summer and at Christmastime. The Logan multi-stake Family History Center is also found here.
