    Thanksgiving Point - Lehi UT
    This theme park consists of one of the largest golf courses in Utah, 55 acres of gardens, animal park, country village and musuem of ancient life. There is a also a movie theatre and a very busy special event schedule that includes big name entertainers, concerts, garden luncheon series, Monday Family Night specials.

    Heber Valley Railroad
    Utah's magnificent steam & diesel passenger railroad. It's an historic tourist attraction based in Heber City, Utah. Trains cross the farmlands of the Heber Valley, follow the shore of Deer Creek Lake and descends into a majestic and breathtaking canyon. The track follows the Provo River to Vivian Park in Provo Canyon.

    Historic Temple Square
    The famous Mormon Temple, Tabernacle and Visitors Center of the LDS Church, located in downtown SLC. Today this complex serves as the headquarters of the worldwide church.

    Timpanogas Cave National Monument

    National Park Rangers guide visitors on hour-long, interpretative tours through the caves. Closed Oct-April.

    Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry
    Some 12,000 bones of over 70 different animal species have been recovered from this quarry which provides major dinosaur skeletal exhibits to museums all over the world. The area was once a shallow lake with a muddy bottom that trapped many unwary animals.

    Western Mining & Railroad Museum
    The museum is located in the small town of Helper, named so because of the engines required to help the trains of The Denver and Rio Grande Railroad climb the steep grades to Soldier Summit. Four floors of exhibits on the history of railroads and coal mining. Basement exhibit of simulated coal mine. Main floor has very extensive model train display.

    Lagoon Amusement Park
    An older resort theme park located 17 miles north of Salt Lake City in Farmington. Here you will find 35 thrill rides, six-acre beachfront waterpark and historic pioneer village. Additionally there is live entertainment, shops, games and food.

    Historic Gardner Village - West Jordan UT
    Shop, dine and discover history in this landmark village that dates back to 1853. Savor the lazy days of fun in the sun while meandering down our red brick paths, renewing at our day spa, dining in one of our restaurants, and of course, shopping to your heart's content. What remains today is a cluster of specialty shops located in restored cabins, houses and buildings nestled adjacent to the Gardner Mill.

    Utah Fun Dome
    The most conspicuous feature here is the giant 8-story bungee jump tower. Other activities include thrill rides, miniature golf course, laser-tag, arcade games, and restaurants. You can also fine a Karaoke Club, an Italian carousel, bumper cars, 3D theater, and a bowling alley.

    McCurdy Historical Doll Museum

    Over 3,000 dolls in a variety of dress themes and period costumes.

Dinosaur National Monument

Covering 325 square miles along the Utah/Colorado border, is one of the world's largest concentrations of fossilized dinosaur bones. Most are contained in a single sandstone cliff. Paleontologists have found fossilized bones of allosaurus and other prehistoric species. Over 2,300 bones are on display in the two visitor centers located onsite.

Dinosaur National Monument also preserves the significant landscape formations of the Green and Yampa River gorges. These fragile tinted sandstone cliffs dominate the Canyon of Lodore that drops upto 3,300 feet deep. Hiking, camping, and fishing is available in this part of the park.

    Located seven miles north of Jensen, UT. This quarry has provided many complete dinosaur skeletons to museums around the world.

    Camp Floyd and Statecoach Inn State Park
    Open: Daily 1AM-5PM Easter to Oct 15; Admission: $1; (801) 768-8932;

    Located near Fairfield, Camp Floyd served as headquarters for Gen. Johnston's army forces from 1858 upto the start of the civil war in 1861. More than 5,600 troops were stationed here to suppress a Mormon rebellion that never materialized and during that time it was the largest army outpost in the country. The nearby town of Fairfield flourished selling food and supplies to the army.

    Nearby Stagecoach Inn served as inn and rest stop for Pony Express riders. This state park is located about 20 minutes east of Provo. Many artifacts are on display at the Hutching's Museum.

    Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry

    Located about 30 miles south of Price on SR-155 is this quarry providing dinosaur bones and complete skeletons to museums around the world. Over 12,000 bones of some 70 different creatures have been recovered so far.

    Territorial Statehouse
    State Park Museum - Fillmore UT

    Fillmore was the original Territorial Capital of Utah, the building, now a wonderful pioneer museum was built under the direction of Brigham Young, intending it to be used as the State Capital, but was never finished because the Capitol was moved to Salt Lake City.

    Cove Fort Historic Site
    Historic 1867 pioneer fort located in central Utah between the towns of Beaver and Fillmore. Due to the scarcity of water, a town could not be established in this location so Cove Fort was to be a way-station for pioneers, miners, Indian or Spanish traders, mail carriers, and others traveling along the "Mormon Corridor" - settlements stretching from Idaho to California.

    Fremont Indian State Park and Museum - Sevier UT
    Recovered artifacts are now on display at the museum and include pottery, grinding stones, arrowheads, baskets, and other tools. Visitors may also meander park trails, which lead to hundreds of spectacular petroglyphs; a natural outdoor gallery.

    Historic Landmarks
    Topaz Relocation Center - The camp held more than 8,300 internees at one point, mostly from the San Francisco Bay area from 1942-1946.
    Fort Deseret - - Old mud pioneer fort built in 18 days at the height of the Black Hawk Indian War of 1865.
    Gunnison Massacre Site - Marker at site of 1853 massacre of US Army survey party led by Captain John Gunnison.
