BYU Harris Fine Arts Center
Five concert halls including the acoustically designed
de Jong Concert Hall (seats 1,600), four art galleries, 65 practice rooms, including nine pipe organs
and a pair of rare bronze Japanese pagoda lanterns dating to 1716 A.D.
Museum of Art [MOA]
The museum and its surrounding Sculpture Garden holds more
than 14,000 works of art, sculpture, historical musical instruments
and other unique exhibits. It is One of the largest and best attended art museums in the Mountain West.
BYU Museum of Peoples and Cultures [MPC]
Housing collections from many parts of the world, this museum
is a repository for the school's archaeological, ethnological and
historical collections.
Over 3,000 dolls in a variety of dress themes and period costumes.

This is a detailed recreation of how this region would have
looked in the age of the dinosaurs. 17 sculptures of mostly
dinosaurs are found along a trail leading through a swamp, rockland,
small lake and waterfall. Museum next door has dinosaur fossils
and American Indian artifacts.
Memorabilia from Uintah County's past and present and many other
Old West exhibits depicting early pioneers, miners, soldiers, gunfighters
and indians.
BYU Earth Science Museum - Provo
One of the five largest collections of
Jurassic Period fossils (140-210 million years ago)
in the world. And many discoveries are waiting to be made--100 tons of plaster-covered bones
are stored underneath BYU's football stadium.
Carl F. Eyring Science Center - Provo
Besides holding classes for the science departments, there
are several fascinating hands-on physics demonstration models in the
hallways. Located directly west of Courgar Stadium.
Harold B. Lee Library - Provo
Includes a recently completed giant expansion (Fall 1999) adding
over 234,000 sq. ft of space to help house the university's
three million volume library collection.

Great Basin Heritage Museum - Delta UT
This museum features exhibits about West Millard County history including artifacts of early settlers, and an excellent archive of photographs, writings and documents about the area.
The camp held more than 8,300 internees at one point, mostly from the San Francisco Bay area from 1942-1946. An original building from the campsite is exhibited at the museum.
LDS Museum of Church History and Art - Temple Square SLC
Tells the story of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through educational exhibits and programs.
The museum collects and displays Latter-day Saint art and artifacts worldwide in a way that offers an educational experience for the whole family.
Alf Engen Ski Museum
Located at Utah's Olympic Park in Park City with innovative exhibits depicting the history of skiing in Utah

Utah Museum of Natural History
State museum holds in trust artifacts and exhibits pertaining to the natural and cultural history of Utah.

Utah Museum of Fine Arts

Exhibits cover wildlife, archealogy, gems

Western Mining and Railroad Museum

Exhibits depict the history of railroad and mining operations
in the area. Artifacts include 19th-century mining tools and railroad
equipment. A 1917 railroad caboose is outside.

Dinosaur National Monument
Covering 325 square miles along the Utah/Colorado border, is one of the world's largest concentrations of fossilized dinosaur bones. Most are contained in a single sandstone cliff. Paleontologists have found fossilized bones of allosaurus and other prehistoric species. Over 2,300 bones are on display in the two visitor centers located onsite.
Dinosaur National Monument also preserves the significant landscape formations of the Green and Yampa River gorges. These fragile tinted sandstone cliffs dominate the Canyon of Lodore that drops upto 3,300 feet deep. Hiking, camping, and fishing is available in this part of the park.

Camp Floyd and Statecoach Inn State Park

Located near Fairfield, Camp Floyd served as headquarters for Gen. Johnston's army forces from 1858 upto the start of the civil war in 1861. More than 5,600 troops were stationed here to suppress a Mormon rebellion that never materialized and during that time it was the largest army outpost in the country. The nearby town of Fairfield flourished selling food and supplies to the army.
Nearby Stagecoach Inn served as inn and rest stop for Pony Express riders. This state park is located about 20 minutes east of Provo. Many artifacts are on display at the Hutching's Museum.
Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry
Open: Daily 10AM-5PM; (801) 637-5050; Free Admission;
Located about 30 miles south of Price on SR-155 is this quarry
providing dinosaur bones and complete skeletons to museums around
the world. Over 12,000 bones of some 70 different creatures have
been recovered so far.

Territorial Statehouse
State Park Museum - Fillmore UT
Fillmore was the original Territorial Capital of Utah, the building, now a wonderful pioneer museum was built under
the direction of Brigham Young, intending it to be used as the State Capital, but was never finished because the
Capitol was moved to Salt Lake City.
Cove Fort Historic Site
Historic 1867 pioneer fort located in central Utah between the towns of Beaver and Fillmore.
Due to the scarcity of water, a town could not be established in this location so Cove Fort was
to be a way-station for pioneers, miners, Indian or Spanish traders, mail carriers, and others traveling along the "Mormon Corridor" - settlements stretching from Idaho to California.
Fremont Indian State Park and Museum - Sevier UT
Recovered artifacts are now on display at the museum and include
pottery, grinding stones, arrowheads, baskets, and other tools.
Visitors may also meander park trails, which lead to hundreds of spectacular petroglyphs; a natural outdoor gallery.
