Wasatch Back Relay - [Mid-June] Think of it as a 173-mile party with 12 best friends. 300 teams of 12 will rock out to live bands, enjoy the wacky participant costumes, and make life-long friends with teammates and competitors. Teams will party along the backside of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains from Logan to Park City. Each team member will run three legs ranging from 3 to 6 miles.

Heber Valley Railroad
Utah's magnificent steam & diesel passenger railroad. It's an historic tourist attraction based in Heber City, Utah. Trains cross the farmlands of the Heber Valley, follow the shore of Deer Creek Lake and descends into a majestic and breathtaking canyon. The track follows the Provo River to Vivian Park in Provo Canyon.

Rail Trail State Park
The Historic Union Pacific Rail Trail is a 28-mile non-motorized trail. The trail begins or ends in Park City and follows Interstate 80 through Wanship and Coalville to Echo Reservoir. Activities include hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, jogging, Nordic skiing and wildlife watching.

Freestyle Mogul - Newly completed championship ski run with a 60 percent steep drop slope. The course is 320 meters long with two sets of 6 and 8 foot high jumps. To have a chance to win the gold medal you must make this whole run in 40 seconds!
Alpine Slalom - Set on a black diamond course - traverse 55 gates along a twisting course.

Completed for the 2002 Winter Olympics at a cost of $45 million, this facility is now open year-round to help athletes prepare for the Winter Olympics. Visitors are treated to a guided tour of the park, athlete training sessions, 70 mile-per-hour bobsled rides, zipline rides, uicksilver alpine slide rides, Olympic museum, an interactive museum, freestyle aerial and ski jumping shows on summer weekends and a variety of camps for all ages.

2002 Winter Olympic Games

The Utah Winter Sports Park was home to bobsled, luge and Nordic Ski Jumping. Some of these courses are open to the public and is the only place in North America where amatuers can try out these sports.
Nordic Ski Jumping - The park has a 18 or 38 meter training ski jumps. Athletes will launch from a rebuilt 90 meter and yet to be built 120 meter jump on the opposite side of the hill. A 750,000 gallon pool is filled for summer training,
Bobsled and Luge Track - $25 million bobsled and luge facility open barely a year ago touted as the fastest sustained-speed track in the world. Hit 5G force as you go thru 15 turns at more than 70 mph in less than 60 seconds. Track events feature two-man and four-man bobsled, single and doubles luge.
