Wasatch Back Relay - [Mid-June] Think of it as a 173-mile party with 12 best friends. 300 teams of 12 will rock out to live bands, enjoy the wacky participant costumes, and make life-long friends with teammates and competitors. Teams will party along the backside of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains from Logan to Park City. Each team member will run three legs ranging from 3 to 6 miles.

    Logan is a historic Mormon town in the heart of fertile Cache Valley on the Logan River.

    LDS Logan Temple

    Historic structure completed in 1884, second oldest operating Mormon temple. This castellated style edifice was built using a dark-colored, siliceous limestone—an extremely hard stone and compact in texture. The Logan Utah Temple stands prominently upon an elevated terrace—visible for miles throughout northern Utah's Cache Valley. Occupying an entire city block, the site features charming gardens and fountains on the east side and a huge grassy hill on the west. Just two blocks from the temple is the historic Logan Tabernacle, located on highly traveled Highway 91. (Closed to public.)

    Beaver Mountain Ski Resort - Logan Canyon
    Location : Beaver Mountain is located 27 miles east of Logan, UT, in the Wasatch-Cache National forest.
    Family-owned and operated since 1939, Beaver Mountain is an all-around ski and snowboard resort.

    Bear Lake
    Anglers enjoy year-round fishing for cutthroat, mackinaw, cisco, and whitefish. Lake trout (mackinaw) also inhabit the lake and may grow to 30 lbs. Bear Lake is home to a trophy cutthroat trout fishery where the Idaho State record cutthroat of 19 lbs. was caught. Ice-fishing during the winter is a popular activity. There are four species of fish that cannot be found anywhere else including the Bonneville Cisco. They move in close to shore to spawn in mid January and can be dip-netted through the ice.

    Hardware Ranch Wildlife Management Area
    19,000-acre Hardware Ranch offers horse-drawn sleigh rides to view hundreds of wintering elk up close. During the summer, the Hardware Ranch area provides great opportunities for outdoor recreation and wildlife viewing. Activities include sleigh ride and restaurant.

    Located six miles south of Logan on US-89/91 is this 120 acre farm and orchard that resembles a 1917 Mormon farm. Includes farmhouse, machinery, barn, smokehouse and other structures.

    The Old Lyric Repertory Company (OLRC) is a professional theatre group founded in 1967 by Cache Valley theatre patron W. Vosco Call. The company is one of the only remaining regional theatre companies that produces four shows in repertory through the summer months of June, July and August. Productions consist of a farce, a musical, a drama and a mystery. The OLRC is also a training ground for advanced theatre students of Utah State University, which maintains a close tie with the company.
