    Lagoon Amusement Park
    An older resort theme park located 17 miles north of Salt Lake City in Farmington. Here you will find 35 thrill rides, six-acre beachfront waterpark and historic pioneer village. Additionally there is live entertainment, shops, games and food.

    American West Heritage Center - Wellsville UT
    This living history center celebrates the heritage and life-ways of the diverse peoples who lived in the West between 1820-1920 by attending the Festivals of the American West. Seven festival events spread throughout the year that focus on a special theme or topic.

    Red Butte Garden and Arboretum
    University of Utah Campus in Salt Lake City
    1,500-acre arboretum is home to over 9,000 species of tree and shrub from around the world. Its surrounded by over 150 acres of gardens with nature trails, wildlife, waterfall garden, wildflower meadow and terraced garden.

    Willow Park Zoo - Logan UT
    Home to over 100 species of birds, 12 species of mammals, and various fish and turtles. Various youth education and summer camp programs provided.

    Ogden's Dinosaur Park
    An exciting collection of prehistoric crawlers, predators, marine animals, and flying reptiles. More than one hundred dinosaur sculptures fill the park, based on actual fossil skeletons and brought to life with modern robotics.

    Ogden City Union Station
    This grand old train depot, built in 1924, was the hub of transcontinental rail traffic for over 50 years. Today it houses museums and galleries featuring railroad history, firearms, gems and minerals, classic cars and the arts. The Union Station is also the home of a restaurant, model train shop, large and small meeting rooms and a satellite police station.

    Morton Thiokol Rocket Display - Promontory Summit
    Located off SR-83 about 25 miles west of Brigham City - just a few miles past the golden spike turnoff;
    The Morton Thiokol company (now owned by ATK) manufactured over the years a number of famous solid-propellant rocket boosters, including several types of ICBM's and the Space Shuttle Boosters, at a facility near here. Full scale prototypes of many of these are on display in this outdoor setting.

    Utah Museum of Natural History
    State museum holds in trust artifacts and exhibits pertaining to the natural and cultural history of Utah. Wide range of minerals, gems, plants, animals and early inhabitants. There are also many children's interactive exhibits spread across the six major galleries.

    Utah Museum of Fine Arts
    Paintings and artwork span over 5,000 years. Includes Louis XIV furniture, 17th-century tapestries, Rubens paintings and special exhibits. Tours, lectures and traveling exhibits.

    Fort Douglas Military Museum
    U.S. military historical exhibits range from the 19th-century to Operation Desert Storm and includes uniforms, tanks and artillery guns. Fort Douglas is a former 9,000-acre military base located immediately east of the University of Utah.

    Hill Aerospace Museum - Hill AFB
    The museum exhibits over 80 aircraft covering aviation history from the 1930's to the present plus an assortment of artwork, uniforms and flight suits. F-15 and F-16 fighter planes, SR-71 Black Bird spy plane, Rockets, bombs and missiles.

    LDS Museum of Church History and Art - Temple Square SLC
    Tells the story of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through educational exhibits and programs. The museum collects and displays Latter-day Saint art and artifacts worldwide in a way that offers an educational experience for the whole family.

    Bear River Heritage Area

    The Bear River Heritage Area straddles the Idaho-Utah border where the Great Basin and the Rocky Mountains meet. It is home to a strong agricultural economy, history-laced landscape, and abundant natural beauty. Retrace the footsteps of early fur traders, Mormon settlers, and generations of the Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation.

    Red Rock Ranch & Outfitters - Huntsville UT
    Longest operating ranch in Northern Utah (since 1866) that today operates a chuck wagon cafe and outfitters for horseback riding and snowmobile trails. Nearby is scenic Causey Reservoir hidden in the hills. a real working cattle ranch complete with cattle drives for the public. The ranch is home to mountain lions, mule deer, bob cats, red fox, moose, elk, wild turkeys, sand hill cranes, bald eagles, golden eagles and many other species of wildlife.

Marriott Ogden
247 24th Street - Ogden, UT, US 84401
The recently renovated Marriott Ogden is located downtown one block from Eccles Convention Center, the Ogden Raptors baseball stadium and Ogden City Mall. Dining, entertainment, historical sites and two shopping malls are all within a five mile radius of the hotel. Salt Lake City is thirty-five miles south with commercial transportation available to and from SLC International Airport.

    LDS Logan Temple
    Historic structure completed in 1884, second oldest operating Mormon temple. The Logan Utah Temple stands prominently upon an elevated terrace—visible for miles throughout northern Utah's Cache Valley. Occupying an entire city block, the site features charming gardens and fountains on the east side and a huge grassy hill on the west. Just two blocks from the temple is the historic Logan Tabernacle, located on highly traveled Highway 91.

    Box Elder Tabernacle - Brigham City, UT
    One of the first building in Utah to be placed on the National Registrar of Historic Places. This landmark structure is a blend of Gothic and neoclassis architecture styles.

    Mount Baldy Inspiration Point
    The top of Willard Peak (Mount Baldy, 17 miles east of Brigham City) offers spectacular views as far as Idaho and (on a very clear day) all the way to Nevada.

    Golden Spike National Historic Site - Promontory Summit
    Completion of the world's first transcontinental railroad was celebrated here where the Central Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads met on May 10, 1869. The event is re-enacted every year on the same date. The annual Railroader's Festival is held the second Saturday in August, and the Winter Steam Demonstration and Film Festival are the last weekend in December. Working replicas of the 1869 steam locomotives 'Jupiter' and '119' are in operation from May-October. Includes 9-mile auto tour and ranger program. Recreation activities include biking, hiking and wildlife viewing.

    Spiral Jetty
    Robert Smithson's monumental earthwork Spiral Jetty (1970) is located on the Great Salt Lake in Utah. Using black basalt rocks and earth from the site, the artist created a coil 1500 feet long and 15 feet wide that stretches out counterclockwise into the translucent red water.
