Adventure Overview Vacation Resorts - Farmington Utah

    High Uintas Wilderness
    High wilderness country that includes 276,157 acres of the Ashley National Forest and 180,530 acres of the Wasatch-Cache National Forest. Elevations range from 6,000 feet to over 13,500 feet.

    Lone Peak Wilderness Area
    31,165 acres (20,829 acres on the Uinta NF, 10,336 acres on the Wasatch-Cache NF). This area contains very rugged terrain with narrow canyons and high peaks, including the Little Matterhorn at 11,326 feet and Lone Peak at 11,253 feet. Snow often remains on these alpine peaks until midsummer.

    This theme park has 35 rides and a waterpark. Additionally there is live entertainment, shops, games and food. Located 17 miles north of Salt Lake City.

    Lagoon dates back to the late 1800's when a whole string of resorts popped up along the shores of the Great Salt Lake. It was rebuilt after a devastating fire in 1953.

    • Skycoaster - travels upto 80 MPH
    • Colossal Fire Dragon - over 3,000 feet of track covered in less than two minutes.
    • Top Eliminator - Dragster type thrill ride
    • Sky Scraper Ferris - 150 foot tall ferris wheel
    • Wooden Roller Coaster - 2,500 feet of rickety-wood track built in 1921
    • Lagoon's Carousel - Original 1893 carousel with hand carved animals
    • Two Music Theaters - variety of live entertainment

    Six acres of beachfront in the middle of the desert and 550,000 gallons of water. Waterfalls, misty tunnels, and hot tubs.

    Children's activity pool has tunnels, bridges, slides and a giant spouting volcano. Waterguns are avialable.

    Waterslides: Upto 65 foot high freefall and serpentine slides.

    Pioneer Village at Lagoon

    Frontier settlement with train, stagecoach rides and living history exhibits. Old-time jailhouse, gunfights, horse drawn carriages and early soda fountain. John Browning gun collections.
