Large numbers of Greek Orthodox immigrantsbegan to arrive in the Great Salt Lake Valley in the early part of the 20th century where they provided the labor for the mining industry, coal mining and the railroads. Today Salt Lake is one of the largest Parishes in the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America.

Holy Trinity Cathedral - Greek Orthodox
1925 a new church was constructed at 279 South and 300 West, Salt Lake City. The church was unique for its time because of the Byzantine architecture included in the design.
