To get a head start on the crowds - show up one hour early to park up close and buy your ticket ahead of time. There is never any waiting in lines for your favorite ride when you're the first person thru the gate.
Notice: Most amusement park do not give rain checks.
Did you know that Mother's Day is the slowest day of the year for most amusement parks? Also avoid weekends, holidays, spring break and summertime. Alternatively if you do attent during the summer take advantage of later hours and come after 4PM when the main crowd starts heading home. Also try for Sept-Nov when the school year starts, the crowds are thin and there in next to no lines for any of the popular rides.
