Whose Billboard Is It Anyways?
Late April 2005 / John and Ken Show / KFI-640 Los Angeles / Show Website;
Biggest afternoon drive-time show in L.A., this duo will challenge anyway.
In late April, a local Spanish language TV station drew their wrath when they put up billboards claiming that
Los Angeles was now part of Mexico. John and Ken went ballistic immediately calling for
protests calls to be directed to the owners of those darn billboards. Very shortly their own
investivation found out that the billboard owners was the same entity that owned the hosts' own radio station -
Clear Channel Network.
Is That a New Gospel Hymn?

From time to time this liberal morning San Diego talk host will chat with a
pastor from a local progressive Christian church (his name escapes me now). But the
last time I heard him introduce his friend on the air, the studio engineer has playing music in the
background - ACDC's Highway to Hell!

What Radio Station Do You Work For?
Those "Live In The Sky" helicopter traffic reporters are always messing this up by
signing off with the call letters of a competitors radio station. Don't be too harsh on
them. Its hard work to keep straight eight traffic reports in a 15-minute span while flying
a complicated piece of machinery. (Maybe they should pull over first?)
What Time Is It?
I'm pretty sure that most broadcast facilities have a big digital clock easily visible
for the host / news reporter to check. But I still frequently hear them quote the wrong
time. How do they doing that?
Which Reporter Is Live?
"For more details we go live to Mr. Street Reporter at the scene". But instead they
start running a different tape recording of a different reporting talking about a
different story at a different location. And it sounds just like the "live" report from
one-hour ago.
