Metropolitan Opera House - home
to the Metropolitan Opera and American Ballet Theater. Capable of seating 4,000
it is the largest auditorium in Lincoln Center.
Polynesian Cultural Center - Hawaii
Located next to the BYU-Hawaii campus alongside SR-83 is this
42-acre park. Waterways and a lagoon in a scenic parkland setting
provide the setting for this living museum and cultural center.
The exhibits provide insite into the heritage of various South
Seas inhabitants, including: Fiji, Hawaii, Marquesas, Maori (New Zealand),
Samora, Tahiti and Tonga. This facility is operated by the Mormon church.
Mormon Tabernacle Choir - Salt Lake City
The world renowned Mormon Tabernacle Choir holds and public rehersals
every Thursday Night (8 PM) and records its weekly
international radio broadcast every Sunday Morning (9:15 AM).
Additionally there are daily organ recitals (noon) and weekly
recitals by the Mormon Youth Chorus (Tues and Wedz at 8PM)
and Symphany Concerts and rehersals.
