conservation and horticulture. An international leader in tropical plant research, Fairchild Tropical Garden plays an important part in preserving the
biodiversity of the tropical environment. Guided walking and tram tours are both provided hourly.
Botanical Resource Center -includes the Virtual Herbarium a resource for images and data for more than 165,000 herbarium specimens, and the ongoing documentation of the Garden's entire living collection.

Windows to the Tropics conservatory displays,
Rainforest Exhibit - a two-acre, outdoor exhibit of tropical rainforest plants from around the world, especially plants of the American tropics. The adjacent conservatory contains rainforest plants that will not survive outdoors in subtropical south Florida.
The Keys Coastal Habitat - located in the southeast corner of the Garden, is one of Fairchild Tropical Garden's newest features. The habitat, with existing marsh and mangroves, was planted with Florida native species,
principally those from the Florida Keys, that are attractive to birds throughout the year, but with a special emphasis on migrant species.
