The heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale is the Las Olas Riverwalk arts & entertainment district. This area bustles with shopping, dining, waterfront parks and major cultural attractions.

This 22-block area includes fashion chic Las Olas Boulevard and Las Olas Riverfront all easily accessible from the brick-lined Riverwalk, a meandering promenade that follows the New River with shortcut to the eclectic Historic Second Street. Since the first trail made in 1917, Las Olas Boulevard, the main route into the Fort Lauderdale Resort area, has grown to become a major shopping mecca of its own.
