Fort Lauderdale (pop. 152,400) is a city of islands, rivers, bays and canals where the boat is just as important as a car for transportation. Residents and visitors frequent the boutique shops and galleries of Las Olas Boulevard and also the the nightlife and museums of Riverwalk.
