Since its inception, the Florida Sea Base mission has been underwater exploration for Boy Scouts around the world.
FSB CRC is located in Islamorada, Florida, famous as the sport fishing capital of the world and
home to North America's only living coral reef. A tourist haven, you will never be bored in Islamorada,
located near the middle of the Florida Keys. Within minutes of Sea Base are attractions like
Johnny Morrison's World Wide Sportsman (where Ernest Hemmingway's fishing boat is on display),
the Dolphin Research Center, Fossil Reef State Park, Theatre of the Sea's trained sea animals.

Southern Florida Scout Camps
Camp La-no-che - CFC
- Merit badges, Outdoor Adventure Trek and Native American Village Program with Pow-Wow.
Main camp operation held at the Winn Dixie Scout Reservation near Disney World.
Spanish Trail Scout Reservation - GCC
- With over 1400 acres, STSR is one of the largest camps in the southeast since 1961. It offers a full range of facilities:
a 40-acre lake for swimming, canoeing, and fishing; a dining hall; and numerous places to camp.
The reservation includes two camps, Camp Euchee and Camp Jambo.
Flaming Arrow Scout Reservation - GRC
- Lake Wales FL - program includes horsemanship, animal science, theater and lots of aquatics.
Located on 1,000 acres of Florida's unique Sand Ridge Ecosystem with three spring-fed lakes.
Camp Oklawaha - GSC
Tanah Keeta Scout Reservation - GSC (Tequesta FL)
- Camps Clear Lake and Loxahatchee with shooting range, archery range, swimming pool,
and an 8.2 mile canoe run on the Loxahatchee River.
Camp Sawyer - SFC, Summerland Key
- A ten acre site located deep in the Florida Keys with the Atlantic Ocean on the east shore and the Gulf of Mexico directly to the west.
A tropical aquatic wonderland: swimming, snorkeling, fishing and boating are many of the favorite adventures.
Camp Everglades - SFC, Everglades N.P.
- The 253-acre campground is located within the Everglades National Park with a pine hammock (primitive campsites), a main campfire arena, a main covered shelter, and pump wells.
Beautiful sunrises and sunsets are common in this campground with clear views of the horizon in the east and the west.
excellent wildlife area for nature programs. Flowers, alligators, animals, insects, reptiles and water fowl are abundant in their seasons.
Normal camping season is November to April.
Camp Seminole - SFC, West Broward County
- This camp is temporarily closed due to Hurricane Wilma.
Camp Flying Eagle - SWFC, Manatee River
- Founded in the late 1920's and is still in use today as a camp providing the outdoors to Scouts and visitors as well.
Camp Miles - SWFC
- Part of the Price-Sanders Scout Reservation operated by SWFC and is comprised of 1,280 acres and is part of the Cecil Webb Wildlife Management area.
- a trading post, archery, rifle and shotgun ranges, a chapel by the lake, and ecology lodge, swimming pool, boating island for aquatics.
Sand Hill Scout Reservation - WCFC
- West Central Florida's main scout camp - rappelling, climbing and the ever-popular COPE course.
Northern Florida Scout Camps
Camp Shands - NFC
- Ten focused program areas including aquatics, COPE, ecology, field sports, shooting sports, handicrafts, and outdoor skills
a part of the Baden Powell Scout Reservation.
Camp Echockotee - NFC
- The Aquatics camp located in Orange Park FL and has 200 acres & a pool.
Wallwood Scout Reservation - SRC, Tallahassee FL
- Consists of over 600 acres. With Camp NeaMathla serving as the main Summer Camp, Camp Tom Matherly, is the COPE / High Adventure outpost.
