  Lynches River County Park

  Picnic area, playground, river fishing and a nature trail that follows an old stagecoach road. Olympic-size pool (seasonal) and 11,000 sq.ft. community building. Bluegrass concerts held first saturday of every month.

  South Carolina Cotton Trail
  Scenic route follows US-15 from Bishopsville northeast to Cheraw and then continues on SR-9 southeast to Dillon. The road passes by many working cotton fields and related historical sites.

  Williamson Park
  Off of Spring St in Darlington; [Scenic Trails]
  Three mile boardwalk and five miles of nature trails. This is one of the most enjoyable hiking and picnic spots in South Carolina.

  Woods Bay State Nature Area

  Woods Bay is one in a series of phenomena known as Carolina Bays, elliptical depressions along the coastal plain. A wide variety of natural habitats and wildlife species can be found here. This 1,541-acre park has walking and canoe trails.
