South Carolina's largest fine art museum features a broad range of artwork from the 14th century to the present. Particularly noteworthy is its collection of Tiffany glassworks, Sandro Botticelli's Nativity and Claude Monet's The Seine at Giverny.

S.C. Confederate Relic Room & Museum

Founded in 1895 by the Wade Hampton Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy as a memorial to South Carolina citizens who fought in The War Between the States. Exhibits highlights South Carolina distinguished military heritage from the Colonial Era to the present.

Finlay Park

14-acre downtown park is host to many festivals, the Watermark Cafe, a waterfall, playground and walking track.

First Baptist Church

Governor's Green / Governor's Mansion

Built in 1855 for a military academy, this has been the official residence of state governors since 1868. Call for mansion tour info.
