Ramona Air Fair - Memorial Day Weekend Event
Held since 1995, the Air Fair began as "Ramona Air Attack Base Open House"
demonstrating the skills and fire fighting characteristics of Fire Fighting Planes and Helicopters.
Since then the event has grown into a 3 day 2 evening event, with more than 30,000 spectators, showcasing various aircraft
from Hot Air Balloons, Sky Divers, World War II Fighter Planes, military fighter jets, Air Plane rides, Fire Fighting Planes and Helicopters.

Only Modern Battlefield in the State of California.
Memorial to honor those who participated in the San Pasqual Battle of
the Mexican-American War that was fought at this spot in 1846. The
battle was fought between about 100 men each representing Californianos
defending for Mexico and the advanced contingent of Gen. Stephen Kearney's
US Army of the West and took place only shortly before the arrival of the
Mormon Battalion. Located on SR-78 about
two miles east of Wild Animal Park, it includes visitors center, historical
trail, exhibits, picnic area and nature trails.

78-acre park designed for campers and picnickers.located halfway between Ramona and Poway.
A youth area holds up to 25 people. Visitors will enjoy the nature trail, horseshoe pits, play areas, and soccer field.
Newest area is a large children's playground.
The small valley harbors a park filled with oak trees, some of them up to 300 years old.
Coyote, fox, possum, skunk, and raccoon are all seen in the park.
Great blue herons, great egrets, and several species of ducks can be found on the pond.
