The Boy Scouts of America operate a number of outdoor adventure programs that are available
to boy scout groups and their families. Membership includes boys ages 7-20 / girls ages 14-20 /
and volunteer leaders. They also maintain a number of outdoor facilities for weekend and summer adventures.
Boy Scout Council is big and rambunctious, offering a wide range of Scouting activities. There are three Council Camps
and great resources that include world renowned educational institutions, legendary community programs, sporting events,
mountains with wild areas, fascinating history and opportunities for Scouts of all ages, backgrounds and interests.
The council was officially organized in 1919, and has since served over one million youth in the area.

BSA Camp Fiesta Island - Mission Bay
Located in Mission Bay at the San Diego Youth Aquatic Center - this facility
hosts weeklong summer camp programs for visiting boy scout troops with classes in
Sailing, Boardsailing, Motorboating, Kayaking, Model Rocketry, Swimming, Oceanography and other
classes not available at a typical boyscout mountain camp.

An organization that is devoted to helping girls grow strong and providing opportunities for fun and learning for grades 1-12.
Day camps are held throughout San Diego and Imperial Counties at a variety of locations including Girl Scout Council sites, schools, parks, recreation centers, and amusement parks.
Resident Camp is an overnight camp experience of 4-13 days at one of our mountain camps near Julian - Camp Winacka or Whispering Oaks.
