Qualcomm was constructed in 1967 at a cost of $27 million.
This multi-purpose facility hosts a variety of concerts,
soccer matches, and annual C.I.F. high school football championship.
The Q now seats 66,307 for baseball, and has drawn the single largest
crowd in all of Major League Baseball in each of the last four seasons,
including a record crowd of 65,427 for Game 4 of the World Series against
New York.

San Diego Chargers - NFL West
The Chargers were one of the original eight teams of the AFL founded in 1960.
In the years since then, the Chargers have made seven trips to the playoffs and three appearances in the
AFC Championship game. At the end of the 1994 season, the Chargers faced the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XXIX and fell 49-26.
Qualcomm Stadium is a multi-purpose facility built to accommodate a wide variety of events, ranging from
football, concerts, soccer matches and off-road extravaganzas. The 122 acres parking lot accommodates such
events as auto racing, new and used car sales, community service happenings, and RV Shows.
