Hot Links Overview - California Ballot Initiatives

Hot Links California State Bond Initiatives

Make no mistake about it - this is a massive borrowing program that will leave California far more seriously in debt when already a giant portion of the general budget goes toward interest payments on previous state bond measures that were mismanaged by the politicians and bureaucrats in Sacramento. More borrowing is not the answer!

California already has the highest state sales and income taxes because of extreme wasteful spending in Sacramento. Giving them more money only encourages them to be more wasteful. Tell them instead to be tough and to delete unnecessary programs.

Hot Links California Proposition 1A

Prop 1A : Protect Fuel Tax Nov 2006
    Vote YES - Our Recommendation
Protects Funding for State Transportation Projects - This item will prohibit state fuel sales tax from being diverted to other sources.

Propositions 1A-1E were put on the California Ballot by sloppy politicians in the Sacramento legislature who are too lazy to manage and audit government spending. Instead they try to look good by proposing feel good legislation.

  • Prop 1A - Vote Yes - Protect Fuel Tax from Diversion
  • Prop 1B - Vote No - $19.9 Billion Transit Bond - Stop Irresponsible Fiscal Waste
  • Prop 1C - Vote No - $2.8 Billion Housing Bond - Stop Irresponsible Fiscal Waste / If you seriously want to help homeless and illegal immigrants You can build 3x the housing units for less than 1/3 of the cost by investing in projects south of the border.
  • Prop 1D - Vote No - $10.4 Billion School Bond - Stop Irresponsible Fiscal Waste
  • Prop 1E - Vote No - $4.1 Billion Levee Bond - Stop Irresponsible Fiscal Waste - How come there is not a regular budget item to properly care and maintain the Central California levee's on a regular annual basis?
