Boy Scouts of America and Girl Scouts of America both operate outdoor summer camps with
week long camper sessions. Most camping slots are reserved by organized scout troops, but there
are some individual openings. It is recommended that youth join with their friends in a locally
organized scout troop.

BSA Camp Fiesta Island - Mission Bay
Located in Mission Bay at the San Diego Youth Aquatic Center - this facility
hosts weeklong summer camp programs for visiting boy scout troops with classes in
Sailing, Boardsailing, Motorboating, Kayaking, Model Rocketry, Swimming, Oceanography and other
classes not available at a typical boyscout mountain camp.
Holcomb Valley Scout Reservation - BSA Camp SGVC
This Boy Scout camp facility is located in the San Bernardino Mountains at 7500' elevation in a remote location halfway
between mountain meadows and brilliant sunsets. Formerly used as a cattle ranch and movie set it still
today retains the original ranch house and barn.
Camp Trask - BSA Camp SGVC
There are lots of reasons to come to Trask: The new dining hall, great swimming pool, archery range, Fort Rotary, and outdoor amphitheater for campfire programs.
The silence in camp is broken only by the sound of the year-round stream which flows through camp. There are no city lights, so you can see the stars at night.
