Furnace Creek Golf Course - Death Valley CA
Located about 2 1/2 hours from the strip. Opened in 1965, designed by William Bell. At 214 feet below sea level, this is the lowest lying golf course in the world. However, during the summer, temperatures easily top 125 degrees, so beware.

Antelope Valley Country Club

Established in 1954 with a masterfully designed classic course was designed by Bill Bell, Sr. The course is a challenging 18 hole / 72 par course with lakes and a grand blend of natural and manicured beauty. Adult trees line the shaded fairways with a pleasant mix of desert plant life. The Men's Championship yards are 6,769 with a slope of 129. Other club amenities include five tennis courts.

This 9-hole public course was an earlier design (1960) of Ted Robinson. It is a flat desert course on bermuda grass featuring just one lake but most of the holes are protected by sand bunkers. Good course for beginners.

Rancho Sierra Golf Course

Rancho Sierra is a beautiful, nine hole public golf course and driving range located about seven miles northeast of Lancaster, California in the Mojave Desert. The course is approximately 2450 yards in length, par 35, and caters to senior golfers, junior golfers, high handicappers and beginners (the course is somewhat narrow so it can also be challenging for the experienced golfer as well). It features large, mature trees, three lakes, and several creeks.
