Scenic Drives:
Immediately to the northeast, a 15 mile stretch of I-15 (the most expensive stretch of interstate ever built in the United States) winds through the awe-inspiring Virgin River Gorge. A pretty picnic area adjacent to the Virgin River, within the gorge, welcomes travelers.

Scenic Canyons:


Elbow Canyon - the largest canyon nearby and has a spring of water running through it.
Cabin Canyon - directly south of Mesquite, is a beautiful place to picnic.
White Rock - The spring water, greenery, and the picnic area at White Rock provide another great attraction.
Seeps Canyon - Water consistently seeps from the ledges in the narrows of one of the highest canyons in the area.

Tri-State Marathon - [Late Mar]
- Marathon and Half Marathon - The race starts at Castle Cliffs near St. George UT. Runners will run on historic U.S. 91 traveling through Utah, Arizona and Nevada. The race will end at the beautiful oasis in the desert, Mesquite NV.

Opened in October, 2000, designed by Dennis and Jon Rider. They developed this course to be a challenge for all levels of play. Designed within the desert area by Mesquite, the course winds up and down scenic canyons for some breath taking views.

A second course within Wolf Creek at Paradise Canyon Resort area, Falcon Ridge, is scheduled to open in the Summer of 2002.

Opened in 1996, Designed by Cal Olsen. Site of the 1997 Nevada Open, the course has a soft spikes only rule. The course is laid out through the desert and the wetlandsarea of Mesquite, and is fairly flat.
