Renovated nine-block historic district on the Riverfront between
Washington Ave and Eads Bridge. These turn-of-the-20th-Century buildings
and cobblestone streets are now filled with shops, restaurants and
offices. Nearby is the Eads Bridge which was the first steel truss
bridge in the world and the first railroad bridge across the Mississippi River.
