Located on Art Hill inside the fine arts pavilion built for the 1904 World's Fair. This museum contains over 30,000 works of art covering a variety of cultures and period. Outfront stands the fine statue of St. Louis the Crusader.
Collections include European, Asian, American, American Indian, African and Oceanic artworks, decorative arts and much more. The galleries also host changing exhibits of major touring shows. There is also a resource center, library, lectures, films, classes and special events.
Look for the special free guided tours conducted Wed-Sun at 1:30PM.
