Opening Day April 25, 1901 - Tigers first ever game in the newly formed American League at Bennett Park: The Tigers entered the ninth inning trailing Milwaukee, 13-4. A series of hits and miscues followed, moving the score to 13-12 with two runners on. With two out, Tiger Frank "Pop" Dillon faced reliever Bert Husting, and the lefthanded hitter rapped a two-run double to complete a 14-13 comeback win.

Comerica Park Stadium was newly completed in Summer 2000. It includes a carousel, ferris wheel, a mammoth water feature in center field that can be choreographed to any music. a decade-by-decade pedestrian museum enveloping the main concourse. But wait, there is also a field with a game being played as well.
