2894-seat three-tiered theater palace located along Upper Broadway that first opened in 1929 to show motion pictures and vaudeville. Today it is one of New York's leading live music and entertainment venues, and site of the 2010 and 2011 Tony Awards.

Tony Awards - The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Theatre (Tony's) are presented jointly by the American Theater Wing and The Broadway League for outstanding Broadway productions of the past year. The Tony Awards are considered the highest U.S. theatre honor.
