25 Worse Members of Congress

Overview

Terrible Incumbants are hard to throw out of office because of congressional re-districting.

List A -The 25 Worse Members of the Current Congress

Barney Franks (D-Mass)
Voted Against the Boy Scouts - One of only 3 congressmen to vote against non-binding resolution (HR-853) on 19-Nov-2004 (sponsored by Darryl Issa R-Calif) that commends the Boy Scouts of America for the exemplorary service on behalf of community and country. This faith-based youth organization is highly successful for its ability to transform young people into outstanding citizens because of its strong emphasis of faith, morality, hard-work and self-discipline. No other youth organization comes even close. HR-853 commended the Boy Scouts and condemned legal efforts to limit government ties to the group because of its requirement that members believe in God. Passed by a 391-3 vote, recognized the 3.2 million-member Boy Scouts for its public service efforts. But the main thrust of the debate was what the House Judiciary Committee chairman, Rep. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wis., said were the "strident legal attacks" on the group.
