Est. 1973. The Honolulu Marathon was the country’s third largest marathon last year with 24,575 finishers. Events include fitness expo at the Honolulu Convention Center and all you can eat Laua dinner and concert featuring Hawaiian music, dance show and special guest performer. The Honolulu Marathon's scenic course includes spectacular ocean views alongside world-famous Waikiki Beach, and Diamond Head and Koko Head volcanic craters. The terrain is level except for short uphill grades around Diamond Head. Entrants can watch themselves run on a DVD highlighting local scenery and course highlights.
