Overview and General Information

Moloka'i is the fifth largest and least developed of the Hawaiian Islands. Only 20 minutes by air from Oahu or Maui. Population is less than 7,000.
No highrises or buildings taller than the palm trees or traffic lights. It is very quiet and relaxed, peaceful and uncommercialized. See waterfalls cascading down 2,000 foot sea cliffs along the coast. Explore miles of the biggest Hawaiian white sand beaches and also find rainforests with plants and animals found nowhere else on Earth.

Molokai Ka Hula Piko [3rd Sat. May]
Big annual event held on the 3rd Saturday of May. Held at Papohaku Beach Park on the island. Sponsored by the Molokai Visitors Association. The festival celebrates the birth of Hula on Molokai.
Tourists from all over the world come to commerate this special day of Hawaiian dance, music, food, crafts, and much more. Moloka'i is the traditional birth place of the Hula Dance.
