70-acre theme park with more than 45 rides, shows, and attractions including a free fall swing, white-water rafting and the one-of-a-kind Flying Coaster. Also included are children's play area, flower gardens and 10-acre water park, Island Kingdom Water Park, free with theme park admission with lazy river, speed slides, and wave pool.

Elitch Gardens originally was started in 1890 by John and Mary Elitch who transformed an apple orchard into a public picnic area and ball field. Elitch Theatre was added in 1891. Over the years it became known for its signature gardens. In 1995 it was moved to its present location west of downtown Denver and in 1998 sold to "Six Flags".

Twister II - roller coaster completely rebuilt 100-foot-high.
Mind Eraser - $10 million high-tech steel coaster features a two minute ride in steep dives, twists and double corkscrew spins. At 60 mph it is probably the most popular ride at Elitch Gardens.
Boomerang Coast to Coaster - high speed forwards and backwards looping supercoaster with a 125 foot tower. First you go through three loops forwards and then repeat it again - backwards!
Disaster Canyon - white water raft ride takes you through a spray tunnel to get you soaked.
Looney Tunes Movietown - Children's area with many pint-size rides and activities. Meet cartoon characters in person. Special attraction ACME Foam Factory.
Thunder Road Demolition Derby (i.e. no brakes on your cars)

Total Tower - 300-foot high observation deck
Tower of Doom - 22-story free-fall
Elitch Courosel - restored version of 1925 original includes 67 hand-carved horses and chariots.
Shipwreck Falls - wet water ride takes you over a 50-foot waterfall.
Island Kingdom Waterpark - 10-acre tropical paradise and water adventure playground. Dozens or water slides, a meandering river, wave pool, five-story treehouse and Hook's Lagoon.
