Largest island in the Bahamas, but also the least developed. At some 167 miles long, Andros Barrier Reef is the third largest such coral reef in the world. It is very colorful home to a billions upon billions of tiny plants and marine invertebrae that are constantly expanding this giant marine limestone skeleton.

Because of its remote location, it is widely regarded as one of the best unspoiled marine nature wilderness areas of the world. But it is located only one mile off the eastern shore of Andros Island, the largest (but only sparsely inhabited) of the Bahamas Islands.

The Potomac is a freighter that sank in 1952, in about 40 feet of water near Nicholl's Town.

The Barge Wreck is a World War II LCM, that was deliberately sunk in 1963 to create an artificial reef. It lies in about 70-feet of water near Fresh Creek.
