    GCC Summer Scout Camp - Payson AZ

    Located north of Payson in the shadows of the magnificent Mogollon Rim on nearly 200 acres of forest and meadows. Surrounded by over 5,000 acres of ponderosa pine forest, trails lead from camp to the top of the rim where Scouts can stand at the very edge of the Colorado Plateau.

    Located east of Payson, along the banks of Christopher Creek, Camp Theodore Roosevelt / R-C Scout Ranch occupies 75 acres of tall, cool ponderosa pines.

    Lake Pleasant Regional Park
    Unlike other local resident camps, Lake Pleasant Camp offers opportunities for advancement and camaraderie while still allowing Scouts to return home every evening. The camp is a Scout’s dream offering more than 20 aquatic and nature merit badges including cooking, first aid and much more.

    Find a variety of program areas for you and your Scouts. Activities range from hiking to camping, COPE, swimming, rifle shooting and archery. The adobe style architecture of the entry way is reflected throughout the camp. Remote desert campsites are also available here.

    Levi-Levi High Adventure Base BSA Utah Camp Levi-Levi
    Hualapai Mountains, Arizona
    BSA Las Vegas Council

    Camp Levi-Levi is nestled in the Hualapai Mountains 14 miles south of Kingman, Arizona, at an elevation of 7,000 feet. Troops that attend Levi Levi provide their own food and do their own cooking. The program includes rifle shooting, archery, camp-wide games, special hikes, campfires, a First Class Trail, and over 20 merit badges.

    Camp Lawton CC
    Coronado National Forest

    With the Tucson skyline visible in the background, Camp Lawton has continuously hosted boy scout troops since 1921. Located at a high 8000-ft plus elevation in the Santa Catalina Mountains, just northeast of Tucson. More than 700 Scouts and 100 leaders enjoy Camp Lawton each summer.

    Camp Fee Waiver / Credits

    Many BSA Camp Facilities will waiver the camping fee for each participant in the group that completes a four-hour service project for the camp. [Need Ideas: Trail Repair / Camp Signage / Info Kiosk / Tent Repair / Painting and Maintenance / Weed Control / Road Repair / Donate Supplies]


    Double V Scout Ranch

    Hidden with in the beautiful saguaro cactus and palo verde trees of western Pima County is the Double V Scout Ranch and its big olympic size scout swimming pool. Sports Ramada and other facilities available. Trailheads into the adjacent Tucson Mountain Park.

    Since 1939, the Boy Scouts of America have operated a large outdoor high adventure base on this large, rugged, mountain ranch (137,500 acres) located near the town of Cimarron, New Mexico. It covers a wide stretch of wilderness in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of the Rocky Mountains of northern New Mexico.
