4-hour scenic excursion through the North Verde River Canyon and Sycamore Wilderness Area. Train takes you pass Sinagua Indian ruins and desert flora and fauna. Keep a sharp eye out for bald eagle, blue herons and deer.

Schedules and fares vary and are subject to change. Boarding and round-trip terminus are at Clarkdale, 25 minutes Southwest from Sedona, AZ.

This train is pulled by a vintage FP7 diesel locomotive of which only 12 working models still exist. Accomodations range from luxurious First Class cars to open touring cars.

Trains depart daily at 9:30AM and returns at 5:30 with a 3.5 hour stopover at the Grand Canyon National Park. Round trip excursion to the South Rim traverses grasslands and pine forests. Pulled by vintage steam engine (Summer) or early 1950s diesel locomotives (Oct-May). Onboard are strolling musicians, cowboys and refreshments. Museum at the restored 1908 Williams Depot covers railroading history. The 1910 Grand Canyon depot is built of pine logs.
