One of the premier yachting events of the Caribbean. For over 30 years hundreds of boats gather at English Harbour for a five day series of races. Many onshore festivities in the evening.

Nelson's Dockyard National Park

Major historical site - only Georgian style dockyard left in the world. Principal Caribbean base for Lord Admiral Nelson during the Napoleanic Wars. Dockyard tours, museum, boat tours, colonial naval buildings, ancient archealogical sites and many nature trails.

Frigate Bird Sanctuary
Codrington Lagoon, Barbuda
Reached only by small boat - home to magnificent frigate bird with its nests amongst mangrove bushes. These birds have a wingspan upto 8 feet and ascend upto 2000 feet and reach speeds of upto 100 MPH. Visit in mating season (Aug-Nov). Other birdwatching here includes pelicans, warblers, snipes, ibis, herons, kingfishers and tropical mockingbirds.
