Boat Racing

Boating is the national pasttime of Anquilla and is quite a sight. At holiday times custom made boats sail around the island.

Boat Race Week and Carnival - Held in August, follow the crowds from beach to beach watching the progress of the race and sampling many barbeques, music, dancing and festivities.
